With the loss of OnePlus, the only way to get a comparable flagship now is to pay a little more. However, if you want to get value for your money like you did with OnePlus, while still offering a device that can power through demanding apps and games with powerful chips, Motorola’s current lineup looks a lot like OnePlus’ full lineup, much more so than competitors like Nothing or Google.

Next is the $700 OnePlus 15R, and it’s a hard device to find a comparable alternative, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of base storage. It’s unique in its high specs and mid-range price, leaving you with two options. The Motorola Edge and its mid-range Dimensity 7450 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of base storage cost between $600 and $100 less than the 15R. Or you can take the $400 jump to the $1,100 Razr+ clamshell, packing a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Thanks to the Motorola lineup, there are a few mid-range alternatives.
The latest is the OnePlus 15, and its $900 base model offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage paired with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The closest Motorola model is the Signature, which offers a base Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, but it’s not sold officially in the US, so you’ll need to import it through a trusted store like Etoren to $1,344. If you’d rather not import, there’s the $1,500 Razr Ultra (2026), using the same Snapdragon 8 Elite as the OnePlus 15, offering 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Prices only go up from here
Ultimately, OnePlus is a tough act to follow. With incredible prices for its top-performing phones, whether you’re interested in low-end, mid-range, or high-end, OnePlus has you covered. Unfortunately, component prices are rising to the point that Oppo felt the need to pull its OnePlus subsidiary out of the US and UK, leaving a pretty big hole in the market. Rising prices are also one of the main reasons why people are holding on to their smartphones for longer.
But if there’s one company that comes closest to the OnePlus philosophy of stock firmware and solid specs at respectable prices, it’s Motorola. Of course, it would be nice to see models like the Signature come to the United States to really round out the company’s selection. However, thanks to models like the Edge and G Stylus alongside its Razr range, you’re still covered across all three smartphone price ranges with fairly comparable options, ensuring that Motorola is the brand OnePlus users should upgrade to for their next phone.
