Microsoft is testing support for signing in to its Edge browser using your Apple account, avoiding the need to create a Microsoft account. Two new support-related flags have been spotted by MacMagazine in the latest version of Edge Canary, with the feature also rolling out to Edge Beta users.
One flag enables Apple account sign-in for Edge profiles, while the other adds an Apple sign-in button to the profile menu (where a Google account sign-in option already exists). In its release notes for Edge Beta 152, Microsoft already lists Apple Account sign-in support for Windows and macOS, but describes it as a “controlled rollout,” so there may be some delay before all beta users see it.
