Apple is poised to become a $5 trillion company based on its market capitalization, which is the total value of all of the company’s outstanding shares.
Apple stock closed at $336.91 today, up about 22.5% since the end of June. The company’s market capitalization now stands at approximately $4.94 trillion, although this figure is not precise due to the company repurchasing shares over time.
Apple is once again the most valuable public company in the world, having overtaken Nvidia.
