One such problem is a flashing green light on your Blink camera. One of the main reasons for a flashing green light on a Blink camera is loss of internet connectivity. When the camera loses its existing network connection, it will attempt to connect to a previously known network and will display a flashing green light during the process. How to Fix the Flashing Green Light on Your Blink Camera
Most of the time, when you see a flashing green light on your Blink camera, it is repairing itself because your internet connection is probably experiencing an outage or temporary issues. Once the network is restored, the Blink camera will be able to connect to its servers and the flashing green LED will disappear. However, if the Wi-Fi network credentials you provided to the camera no longer work because you moved to another network, you will need to change the network in your camera settings. Simply open the Blink app, tap the Change Wi-Fi button and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have the new network set up and it is working, the flashing green light will disappear.
In cases where your camera has the correct Wi-Fi credentials and your Internet connection is active, it is possible that your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band is experiencing issues or is down. Start by restarting your router, and if that doesn’t fix the problem, check if the 2.4GHz band is working properly, as this is the Wi-Fi used by most Blink cameras, using another device, and if there is a problem, fix it in your router settings to fix the camera problem. You will need to make sure your internet connection is working and that you have the correct Wi-Fi credentials added to the module to resolve the issue.
A flashing chime may also display a flashing green light; however, this is not a sign of a problem. Instead, it indicates that the chime is ready to be set up. Additionally, as mentioned, Blink Doorbell cameras can display a flashing green light, and like on a chime, this is not a cause for concern. This usually means your doorbell camera is powered on. Once fully lit, the flashing green light will disappear.
