Adaptive Display is rolling out today to the Fire TV Stick HD. Amazon alerted us that this accessibility feature, teased during its April preview event, is now available for the latest model of its streaming dongle.
The Adaptive Display setting resizes text and UI elements on screen for optimal readability, while keeping key images or artwork proportionally scaled. Multiple size options are available so that a user can get the best experience for their eyes and brain. The Adaptive Display seemed to be one of the most notable improvements in this latest Fire TV model, which also benefits from a more streamlined form factor and some additional Alexa+ integrations.
Amazon showed off its redesign of the entire Fire TV user interface at CES 206, followed shortly after by a February rollout. The adaptive display should be able to help more viewers fully enjoy this redesigned experience.
