The stream will last approximately 50 minutes, followed by a deep dive into gameplay.
It’s been a very busy week in the video game world. Both PlayStation and Xbox held showcases amid the whirlwind of Summer Game Fest. However, Nintendo isn’t going to sit idly by and be left out of the party this time around. Via its Nintendo Today app, the company announced a Nintendo Direct stream for June 9. It will start at 10 a.m. ET and you can watch it on YouTube or below.
The Direct will last approximately 50 minutes and feature games for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Next, we’ll move on to a Nintendo Treehouse stream, which will last approximately 95 minutes and feature gameplay from several games featured during the Direct.
Nintendo currently has Fire Emblem: The Weave of Fortune and an exclusive FromSoftware game, Bloods of Twilighton his list for the rest of 2026. Maybe we’ll get release dates for these.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Zelda series, so perhaps we’ll also get some franchise news during this Direct (like another sneak peek at the next film). For what it’s worth, rumors suggest a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is in preparation.
