This will be a free update for players who already own the game.
The second and final act of the indie sci-fi clean-’em-up Ambrosia Sky will be there this summer. During the Story-Rich Showcase this weekend at Summer Game Fest, developer Soft Rains announced that Act Two would be released on Steam on August 6. This will be a free update for anyone who already owns Act One, and new players who acquire it at launch will get the full game with both acts for just $12. This discount will only be available for a limited time, after which the price of the full game will increase to $25.
Ambrosia Sky follows Dalia, a death cleaner in an outpost on the rings of Saturn, where an unknown contamination has wiped out the colony of people who lived there. In the second act, “As she gets closer to the truth behind the disaster that consumed The Cluster, Dalia continues her search for her ex-girlfriend Maeve while burying the dead and collecting DNA to advance research into human immortality.”
According to the developers, “The final act fixes major issues introduced in Act 1 while expanding the experience with new mission locations, new types of exo-mushrooms to harvest and survive, and a reworked progression system with additional upgrades.”
