The four-day shopping bonanza will take place earlier this year. If you like to wait on big purchases until big sales, listen up. Amazon announced that its Prime Day event will take place this year from June 23 to 26, a few weeks earlier than last year. As usual, the sale is exclusive to Prime members and will feature deals across 35 categories ranging from clothing to electronics.
The event is one of multiple Prime Day sales that Amazon usually holds throughout the year, along with its October and Spring sales. However, it’s the largest of the group with some of the deepest discounts, especially on big-ticket items. It’s also, of course, a way for Amazon to convince people to sign up for its $139-a-year service, since most deals are only available to Prime subscribers.
Last year, Prime Day lasted four days, compared to just 48 hours in 2024. The company is also sticking to that four-day period this year, so you’ll have more time to find deals. Keep in mind, however, that some things are only discounted on certain days and stock can run out quickly, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for any products that interest you.
Amazon also offers Prime members theatrical preview screenings for Spider-Man: A Whole New Day as a way to encourage registrations. As usual, it’s already offering early bird deals on products, particularly on Echo, Ring, Kindle, and Fire TV devices, as well as up to 50% off select movie purchases.
