The magnificent Apple store Passeig de Gràcia, in the heart of Barcelona, reopened its doors today, after being closed for around three months for renovations.
According to the Spanish blog Pommesferathe store’s large video wall has been replaced by an Apple Pickup station dedicated to online orders. The interior trees and wooden cube seats that surrounded the screen were also removed. With these fixtures removed, the store’s iconic glass staircase is more visible again.
Additionally, the store’s terrazzo floor was given a brighter white finish.
Apple Passeig de Gràcia opened in 2012 and is one of the company’s flagship outlets. The store is located on one of Barcelona’s most popular avenues, inside a historic former bank building with a stunning stone facade.
